Suitable for all the purpose we envisaged for it. We use these mats for our drama class. As we were expanding, we rented out new rooms and kitted these out. The children prefer these mats to the previous ones.

Can I use the mat as an underlay for a baby?
Babies will lie and move around on the mat. With Comfort mats you baby will not have very far to go. We would recommend the Arma Sport gymnastics mats as the material contains no harmful plasticisers. In the trade these substances are known as phthalates. They are banned in children's toys. We would recommend model number 612111009 without eyelets for babies.
Can this mat be compared to Airex mats?
Is it possible to use in water? The mats can only be compared in a limited manner. The underlay insulates both mats from the cold of the floor. Comfort mat cannot be used in water. The material in the Airex mat is softer and will float well in water. This characteristic is specially valid for the thicker mats. An alternative would be Movivit mats.
Can this mat be used with under floor heating?
Yes, the mat can be used with under floor heating. However if it covers the whole floor, it will reduce the temperature as the mat has good insulation properties.
