I am very happy Two of my friends and I have been using these sticks for two years now. The rubber pads are not even slightly worn. I find the removable hand loops very practical. They are great when you need to tie your shoe lace quickly or blow your nose. I even take the sticks with me when I go on the bike because I can fold them away so small. I also bring them in my case. I would definitely buy Leki Supreme again.

The current "Supreme" model uses cork handles.

How heavy is one stick?
One stick weighs approx. 210g, including the rubber pad.
Is the Nordic Walking stick suitable for children?
Leki Supreme is suitable for children over 150cm as it can be adjusted from 100 to 135cm.
Is the handle made of cork or plastic?
The handles on these sticks are plastic.
What is the difference between Nordic Walking and trekking/walking sticks?
Would you recommend cork or plastic handles? Each stick is designed to match the movement of the different types of sport. Good walking/trekking sticks should have a wide handle set at an angle and a single loop. Nordic walking sticks should have a thick handle and the loop should be a "glove" loop, so that the movement forces the stick back and the hand moves forward again. Asphalt pads are also needed for Nordic Walking however there are no Nordic walking pads made in cork anymore.
What are the loops that click off for?
These loops make it easier to handle the sticks. If you are out Nordic Walking, warming up or stretching for example, you can use the loop to keep the sticks with you without having to hold the sticks. The loops are also very useful if you need to use a handkerchief. The distance between the loops and stick can also be changed.
Are the rubber pads available separately?
Yes, they are available separately, see article number 1987658.
At what lengths can the stick be adjusted?
The stick is can be adjusted from 100cm to 135cm.
What material is in the Nordic Walking Stick?
LEKI Nordic Walking Sticks are made from aluminium alloy 7075. It undergoes a special hardening process giving it its exceptional strength.
